The Motive Behind The Ministry.

This is just my observation but people go into ministry for the wrong motives. Some are self seeking, others call themselves doing ministry for God, but actually it is for themselves. Some think it is glamours and will bring them wealth and riches or prestige. These poor deceived individuals cause more harm to the body of Christ than we could imagine. This self seeking attitude in ministry must stop and repent. Sometimes when someone is truly deceived they believe they are doing right and it is difficult to prove to them that they are in error.
My advise is simple ask God to reveal your motives vs his plans.
Be released from your pastor or leadership with good standings before you embark on ministry.
Never try to raise money but learn to lean on God's financial principles for ministry provision. My motto is 'Seek first the Kingdom of God and his righteousness and he will add all things."
Let your pastor encourage you to step out not you tell your pastor.
Finally trust in the Lords timing.

Cause A Spiritual Experience That Produces Earthly Results

I don't know about you but I am seeking results when I pray.

The disciples asked Jesus to teach them how to pray. Jesus gave them an outline to follow, which goes like this; "When you pray, say, Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come, thy will be done, as in heaven so in earth.
v3 Give us day by day our daily bread.
v4 And forgive us our sins; for we also forgive every one that is indebted to us. And lead us not into temptation; but deliver us from evil. Luke 11:2-4

Currently I'm teaching/preaching on this passage of scripture and seeing results!

Join us at the Abundant Life Center to get a clear understanding and results from this passage.

Come on out January 27,2008 Sunday at 8am.

A New Church Plant

Finally, God has given me the Ok to plant the Abundant Life Christian Center Church!
He gave me the vision for the church plant over three years ago, but I was not fully equiped to take on the task. Still had to get rid of more of James. A church should be about Jesus, and preparing a people for his return by the preaching and teaching of the Gospel.

The church is a place of healing and leading people to their destiny in Christ. I'm very excited about what Jesus is doing at the Abundant Life Christian Center Church.

Currently services are held at 9am every Sunday. The church is located inside the Euclid Square Mall, Southeast Entrance next to Dillards.

Address: 300 Euclid Square Mall
Euclid, Oh 44132

Phone # (216) 212-1925

Come and join us for coffee, donunts and the Word.

Stop Oppressing Young Preachers

Lets get straight to the point. I have found an oppression in the Body of Christ or in churches. Yes Oppression. It is a sad thing when pastors control and lord over the children of God. The bible tell us to love and encourage young and old ministers, but there are some pastors who keep their foot on the neck of up and coming preachers and that is just wrong.

We need to esteem others better than ourselves ( Philippians 2:3). The bible instruct us in Philippians 2:3-5

Let nothing be done through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem other
Better than themselves. V4, Look not every man on his own things, but let every man also the
Things of others. V5, Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus.

It is clear that we should be concern with helping others more that ourselves.
Recently I have received calls from aspiring preacher, teacher, and evangelist who feel out of sorts, because the pastors have gotten so involved with money and promoting themselves that they miss the blessing right under their noses.

Jesus is not pleased with pastors who scatter the folk and who are in the ministry for the money and fame. The bible instructs preachers:

2 Corinthians 4:5, For we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord; and ourselves your servants for Christ sake.

Also in John 10:12-13

But he that is a hireling, and not the shepherd, who own the sheep are not, seeth the wolf coming, and leaveth the sheep, and fleeth: and the wolf catcheth them, and scattered the sheep. v13, The hireling fleeth, because he is a hireling, and careth not for the sheep.

Some pastor are wolfs in sheep clothing. They could care less about promoting Jesus and the gospel, they could care less about helping new up and coming preachers, they’ve become intimidated by the David in their mist. Instead of helping, they tear down and discourage. This foul behavior must stop and be repented of immediately.

The Abundant Life Christian Center is here to help up and coming pastors and to plant 100 church’s. The message of the cross needs to be shared with everyone. Bishop James assignment is to help you find your mission and help pastors to lead the lost to Christ.

WHO'S HOT AND WHO'S NOT

Who's Hot and Who's Not

We receive hundreds of CD's throughout the year. Some CD's are great works of dedication and done in the spirit of excellence, while some are less desirable.

It has always been our desire to give Indie Christian Artist a platform to display their gifts to the world. We hope by doing reviews and radio interviews as well as putting songs into rotation will help the Indie Artist.

Unfortunately all music doesn't make the rotation. We have had some awfully bad produced albums and songs. The bible says to make a joyful noise unto the Lord, but some of the music we have received wasn't joyful.

So Pastor James has decided to give kudos to whom kudos are due and loving correction to those who will accept constructive critiquing. Some time we need to hear from others than family and friends. If you ever watched American Idol's pre-show and wondered who told that person they can sing? Trust us, it was a family or friend not willing to be objective and tell the TRUTH.

Our hope is that you will enjoy and learn from Pastor James comments about the Artist Music, Lyrics, Production and Packaging.

We look forward to your comments as well.
